My girlfriend and I went to this place on a Saturday night to see my dad's band perform. The place is clean with a cool layout That allows several options to sit and watch the band, or the other patrons. People watching was out activity for the evening as the dance crowd seems to prefer line dancing, and turns every song into one. This doesn't leave much opportunity for regular dancing as to do so would put you out of place and at risk of being run over by the line dancers. This was a disappointment to my girlfriend who loves to dance, but didn't want to get trampled.
Always a fun time. Delicious food including smoked meats, brisket, GREAT wings, and many types of BBQ. Fun to bring your family to eat and then learn a dance or two on a Thursday or Friday night. Live bands on the weekends and and good people working there, including both the dance instructors and wait staff. Recommended.
The servers and bartenders were all friendly. They don't have a ton of options when it comes to craft beer. Just a handful of choices in bottle form. Everything on tap was domestic.
Atmosphere is great. Good bartending. Best day to go is Saturday.
Like I said though, it is a good place if you like live music, which we thoroughly enjoyed. unfortunately, the rest of it just wasn't our scene.
Usually I have a great time. The waitress was really slow. Then standing at the bar was just terrible. I waited 3 minutes for a glass of water and they didn't even acknowledge me. TWICE. Besides bad service, the band was great and LOTS of line dancing!!! Maybe 3.5 stars.
